As explained by the chairman of the Census’ technical support and steering committee, Renand Dorélien, the pilot phase is intended to test all the elements of the implemented devices, such as the deployment strategy in the field, the questionnaires, the tablets, in order to make the necessary adjustments and to guarantee the quality of the fifth general census of the population and housing (RGPH) programmed for the first trimester of 2018.
