This brochure “Together, let’s build a world where no one is left behind” explains UNFPA's mission, its transformative goals, UNFPA's work in Haiti, with a nod to efforts to improve sexual and reproductive health, facilitate developing the potential of young people, reducing gender-based violence, promoting census and data for development.
In Haiti, UNFPA advocates rights and choices for all, and facilitates inclusive social dialogues, bringing people together to define their priorities and needs, so that no one is left behind. UNFPA provides specialized technical assistance, institutional capacity building and knowledge management. As the United Nations agency for sexual and reproductive health, UNFPA offers quality services for development and humanitarian assistance with a focus on demographic challenges, reduction of preventable maternal deaths, access to family planning and reduction of all forms of violence and harmful practices against women and girls.
